Grounds and Gardens

The Coloma Country Inn is known for its casual and welcoming grounds. Stroll through the lush, rambling but well-tended gardens, watch the deer wander through and baby ducks circle the pond, or seek out a quiet place for a good book.

The Main House

Within the Main House are four rooms; two downstairs, both with full size beds, and two upstairs, both with Queen size beds. All rooms have private baths.

Relax and enjoy your evening in our living room, complete with wireless internet access - - - and a laptop in case you have forgotten yours!

Tea and snacks are always available for your enjoyment.

Downstairs Rooms

The two downstairs rooms, the Blue Room and the Rose Room...

Upstairs Rooms

The upstairs rooms are the Eastlake and Lavender rooms...both rooms can accommodate a "smaller" third person with a twin size sleeper sofa. Please Note: as our rates are based on 2 persons, a third person will be charged an additional $25.00.

The Carriage House

This original 1898 carriage house, complete with weathervane atop its cupola, is perfect for a more secluded stay. It features 2 special suites - the Cottage Suite and the Garden Suite - set apart from the Main House, but connected by a winding brick path.

We will accommodate pets in the Carriage House Suites by special arrangement. Please call 530-622-6919 for details.

Both suites require a two night minimum, which may be waived with an added $50 premium.

The Cottage Suite

Part of the original Carriage House, this suite is set apart from the Main House. Private bedroom with queen bed, sitting room with daybed/trundle, convenience kitchenette, bathroom with shower, this suite is perfect for families. Although a 2 night stay is required, it may be waived for an added premium of $50.00.

The Garden Suite

Also part of the original Carriage House, this 1 bedroom kitchenette features pine floors and private patio. Queen bed, 2 twin beds, room for added cot to accommodate 5, bath with clawfoot tub/shower. Laundry facilities, only room in the Inn with a TV.

Weddings

Weddings are a specialty with the Inn. Design your perfect ceremony in our gardens, or in one of the two historic churches less than a block away. Either way we can handle the reception and lodge your family in comfort and style.
